This 12-week Olympic Weightlifting program is designed for CrossFit athletes, beginners, and anyone looking to improve their Snatch and Clean & Jerk numbers. The program focuses on building strong technical foundations while progressively increasing strength and confidence in the Olympic lifts.

Athletes will participate in one 60-minute coached session each week, led by a USAW National Coach. Each class is structured to maximize learning and repetition, ensuring athletes get numerous touches on the barbell every session to reinforce proper movement patterns and improve efficiency in the lifts.

Throughout the program, athletes will work on:

• Snatch technique and variations

• Clean & Jerk technique and positional strength

• Pulling strength and bar path control

• Receiving positions and overhead stability

• Foundational squatting and strength work

This program is appropriate for complete beginners as well as experienced CrossFit athletes who want dedicated time to improve their Olympic lifting outside of regular classes.

The goal of the program is for every athlete to leave with better technique, increased strength, and higher confidence in the Olympic lifts.

A few weeks into class, participants will have the opportunity to compete in a Non-Sanctioned Weightlifting Lift-Off, giving them a chance to showcase their progress and experience a fun, supportive competition environment while helping kick off this year’s @thecornbeltclassic

Whether you are learning the lifts for the first time or looking to push your PRs, this program provides structured coaching, focused practice, and a clear path to improvement
